Great to see the Werribee colors continuing in the Finals Race.
As we move into the finals’ series it can be a very intense and emotional time and it is vital that we remember that we all have Codes of Behaviour to abide by. Werribee Hockey Club prides itself on being a welcoming, family orientated, diverse club that values all members of both our hockey club and the hockey community. Please help us to ensure this is the message we convey throughout the final series and for the final games of U10 and WDHL.
As the season is now concluding there are a few things that need to be done. The first is to tidy and clean everything up – ready for the summer season.
A Working Bee will be held on Thursday 12th September commencing at 6:00 pm. Items to be address include:
Cleaning the dugouts and shelters;
Cleaning the storage shed;
Cleaning the gas cage at end of clubrooms;
Cleaning walls in the Clubrooms;
Cleaning external shutters and windows;
Cleaning the canteen.
It is expected that all players who have played senior hockey this year will contribute some time on this evening. The Club will supply the cleaning products. The loan of a couple of long hoses and a pressure cleaner would be greatly appreciated. A light meal will be supplied for those who attend.
We are currently pulling the planning for this together – looks like be a lot of fun.
Summer hockey will be a 10 week season from 6.00 pm till 10.00 pm, dates will be as follows:
30th October until 11th December 2019
29th January until 12th February 2020.
Keep an eye out on our social media for more info.

If you are interested in any of these positions or in joining the Committee please speak to one of our Directors – Lyn, Heinz, Jayden, Adam or Holly.
